ECD PRACTITIONER VACANCY – APRIL 2024.

King’s School Goodwood, an independent Christian School is looking for an experienced ECD practitioner to encourage the healthy intellectual, physical, emotional, spiritual and psychological growth of children at our school.

The applicant must be a Christian and resident in the greater Cape Town area.

The candidate must…

  • Understand the ELDA program.
  • SACE registered.
  • Identify with and support the schools’ values.
  • Participate fully in the social, cultural and extracurricular activities of the school.
  • Have good relationships with colleagues, parents, and children.
  • Be computer literate.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow a full schedule of activities and discover suitable teaching material.
  • Use a wide range of teaching methods [stories, media, indoor, outdoor games, drawing etc.] to enhance the child’s abilities.
  • Remain in constant communication with parents and update them on the progress of their child.
  • Identify behavioural problems and determine the right course of action.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents.

INTERMEDIATE SENIOR PRIMARY EDUCATOR VACANCY FOR 2024
As an independent Christian School, situated at N1 City, Goodwood, we are seeking the services of a qualified and appropriately experienced person (at least 3 years working experience) to be a member of our innovative Senior Primary department.

The candidate must …
• Be SACE registered.
• Understand the CAPS curriculum.
• Be able to identify with and support the values of Kings School.
• Be willing to participate fully in the social, cultural, and extra mural programme.
• Be a hardworking and enthusiastic teaching professional with excellent subject knowledge.
• Have good working relationships with colleagues, parents, and children.
• Be computer literate.
The applicant must be a Christian, motivated individual with a keen interest in encouraging and inspiring students to love learning, excel at school and find fulfilment in life, and preferably a resident in the greater Cape Town and surrounding area.
