About Me

My name is Lucy Comninos and I am looking forward to a wonderful year of teaching and learning with my new Grade 3 class. My greatest fulfilment as a teacher is centred in the relationships I get to foster with each child, and the privilege of being part of their lives for a year.

My experience

I went into teaching when my own children were babies, and have been teaching for 24 years. I started my teaching career in Natal. After moving to Cape Town, I spent some years teaching Grades 2 and 4 at Seamount Primary in Milnerton, before taking up a post as Grade 3 teacher at King’s School in 2008. I am passionate about helping each child to reach their potential. I love to see children express themselves as individuals, and feel lucky to witness their creativity on a daily basis.
